Since its founding by surfers in Ja Jolla, California, Sector 9's boards have been heavily surf-inspired throughout the years. This year's Swell Photo Collection is no exception. Familiar with Ben Thouard's wave imagery from Tahiti, as Sector 9 has featured his amazing photography on decks in the past, the brand has now added to their growing list of watermen for this collection with photographer Phillip Thurston. Hailing from NSW, Australia, Thurston's photos often feel more like paintings of fluid motion than captured images, and Sector 9 is both stoked and honored to carry boards with his work featured.
