Sector 9 Bamboo is defined by its vibrant, island-inspired aesthetics. To revive our Bamboo roots (as it's a weed), we sought an individual embodying the island lifestyle to create this collection. With this in mind, we've once again collaborated with waterman and artist Kenny Vidinich, the head of OneVibe Creative Studios, situated on the waters of Maunalua Bay in east Honolulu, O'ahu.

Drawing inspiration from the local flora, fauna, and most notably, the waves, Kenny has crafted a series of remarkably detailed and colorful illustrations depicting epic surf spots. We're thrilled to showcase his vision of an island paradise through the return of a classic shape, the Snapper, as well as perennial favorites, the Striker and Maverick.

The fabric type for this collection is Sector 9, which seamlessly blends the brand's signature style with the island-infused aesthetic crafted by Kenny. This fusion captures the essence of the Bamboo line, providing a fresh and captivating interpretation of the brand's core identity.

The Snapper, a returning classic shape, embodies the laid-back and carefree spirit of the islands. Its smooth lines and vibrant graphics transport the user to a world of sun-drenched beaches and endless waves. The Striker and Maverick, both perennial heavy hitters, have been reimagined with Kenny's island-inspired designs, adding a new dimension to these beloved shapes.

Through this collaboration, we aim to revive the Bamboo roots and provide our customers with a collection that celebrates the beauty and energy of island living. The intricate illustrations, coupled with the iconic Sector 9 design, create a harmonious and visually captivating experience that reflects the essence of the Bamboo line.
